Hydra Net® radial

DIMENSION-POLYANT adds a new Hydra Net® radial range of styles for radial constructed sails to the successful line of Hydra Net® fabrics. With its patented weave and special finish Hydra Net® Radial features unsurpassed strength and longevity, exceeding the specifications of other wovens and many laminates.

Hydra Net® radial is constructed with an extremely high share of Dyneema® fibers in the warp direction. Hydra Net® radial is an extremely tight weave achieving superior shape retention along with a soft hand. Design targets that were possible with laminates only can now be put into practice with Hydra Net® radial. The Hydra Net® radial range of fabrics comprises several styles that can be combined for step-up constructions.

 

GPL GraphX® Performance

DIMENSION-POLYANT's line of GraphX® carbon laminates for racing and cruising yachts of all sizes continues to have a huge impact on the sailing world. Superior fiber handling and advanced lamination technology using our patented insert process makes GraphX® the most durable carbon laminates on the market today.

G.P.L. is the first laminated sailcloth line to capture the strength of high performance carbon. G.P.L. laminates utilize high strength carbon warp sheet fiber, super rugged Technora base and Technora X-PLY to create racing fabrics with incredible resistance to flex, elongation and degradation from U.V.  These compo-site fabrics are the answer for no compromise race®(until legal in all classes) sails where the ultimate strength is demanded. G.P.L.’s take Carbon to a new level in High Performance materials.

X-Tech

In this proven line of racing laminates we combine several exclusive production technologies. Our new developed Ti-Tex treatment eliminates any low load crimp and provides totally linear loading performance. A special athesive additive protects the Aramid fibres against UV rays.

Ripstop Spinnaker Nylon

DIMENSION-POLYANT Ripstop Spinnaker materials are designed specifically to complement todays radial constructed spinnakers. Our nylons help to build smoother, stronger, more stable versatile spinnakers based on their constructions, which also provide high weight to strength ratios.

The CHS and Constant finishes give the material enough firmness to be easy to handle in the loft, but also firmness that allows the cloth to stretch once and then lock up. This substantially reduces the tendency of full spinnakers on the reaches when the clews are loaded up and then flap on the runs where apparent winds are generally lower.

Ripstop Spinnaker Dilon

Ripstop Dilon is an impregnated, high performing spinnaker fabric with outstanding stretch characteristics and flatness. Our new Dilon 100, designed for both top end Grand Prix and All Purpose applications, utilizes a proprietary double ripstop design that dramatically increases tear strength, essential for the shorthanded or cruising sailor where durability is a priority. Dilon 150 utilizes heavy duty 70 denier yarns on both the warp and fill for minimum stretch and high tear strength.

Formulon Spinnaker Nylon

DIMENSION-POLYANT has developed this new spinnaker line based on the combination of unique woven substrates and new coating technologies. The Formulon line utilizes our exclusive Formulon coatings to create super low stretch spinnaker fabric with superior bias control to prevent distortion and accompanying shrinkage under load. This double coating is applied to substrates with "paired" ripstops allowing the firm finish to work without reducing tear and breaking strength. Formulon spinnaker material exhibits performance that lasts combined with the durability to work in modern asymmetrical applications.

Ripstop Spinnaker Polyester

DIMENSION-POLYANT Ripstop Polyester spinnaker fabrics exhibit several unique characteristics that produce exceptionally fast spinnakers. These fabrics rely on their tight Polyester yarn construction rather than a heavy finish to resist stretch. Spinnakers can be built to maximum measurements due to minimum changes of characteristics when exposed to water and sun.

Code Zero Laminates

Code Zero sails were initially developed for offshore racing but have gained popularity in club and buoys racing. A Code Zero sail is similar to an asymmetric but flatter in shape. Conventional spinnaker fabrics have insufficient stretch resistance to work in these applications. Therefore DIMENSION-POLYANT has developed a special lightweight laminate line to exactly match those requirements.
